Sizing Chart
PLEASE NOTE: ALL SIZES LISTED ON OUR WEBSITE FOLLOW USA SIZING. PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR SIZE ACCORDINGLY
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR LEATHER PANTS:
Our leather pants are low-rise pants, therefore they run 2–3 sizes smaller than regular fitted jeans.
For the best fit, we recommend choosing 2–3 sizes larger than your usual jeans size.
Example:
If you normally wear US 32 Levi’s jeans:
- Size 33 – very tight / extra fitted look
- Size 34 – fitted but more comfortable
- Size 35 – relaxed fit and easier to wear
If you prefer a tighter leather look, choosing one size up may work (recommended for sizes up to 36).
If you prefer a more comfortable or relaxed fit, choosing two or three sizes up is recommended.
EUROPEAN SIZE CONVERSION:
For our European customers, please refer to the size conversion chart below for your convenience.
If you are unsure about the correct size, please feel free to contact us and we will gladly assist you.
GENERAL REFERENCE GUIDE (Not a Strict Rule)
The chart below is a general reference only. Body proportions vary, so your jacket size and pants size may not always match exactly. For example, someone may wear a Large jacket but require XL pants depending on their waist measurement.
| Jacket / Shirt Size | Recommended Pants Size |
| XS | 28 - 30 |
| S | 31 - 33 |
| M | 33 - 35 |
| L | 35 - 37 |
| XL | 37 - 39 |
| 2XL | 39 - 41 |
| 3XL | 41 - 43 |
| 4XL | 43 - 45 |
CUSTOM / MADE TO MEASURE
If your size is not listed in the chart — or you’re unsure which size fits best — or you would like customization/personalization, simply choose CUSTOM option on the product's page, instead of any standard size and add your measurements in the side notes section (Special Instructions for the Seller) during checkout.
You can also send your measurements along with your order number to info@myleathergear.com
How to Take Accurate Measurements
Taking measurements is simple, but accuracy matters — especially with leather.
Follow these rules for the best possible fit:
Essential Measurement Rules
-
Measure on bare skin or very thin clothing
Thick clothes add unnecessary inches. -
Keep the measuring tape tight, not loose
Leather breaks in and softens, so a tighter measurement gives the ideal long-term fit. -
Use a flexible tailor’s measuring tape
Rigid tape measures bend poorly and create errors. -
Always ask someone to help
Self-measurements can be off by 1–3 cm, especially around shoulders, chest, hips, and thighs. -
Follow the diagrams carefully
Our charts show the correct measuring points for every garment type.
Important note for leather pants & shorts
Our pants are designed with a low-rise (upper-hip) waist.
Please measure your Low Waist / Upper Hips — where your hips naturally begin — NOT your high waist.
This ensures the leather sits exactly where it is meant to.
- Waist
- Hips
- Upper Thigh
- Lower Thigh
- Thigh Length
- Knee
- Calf
- Ankle
- Inseam

Please use the tailor measuring tape and take the following Body measurements (see the size guide below for better understanding).
- Neck
- Arm Hole
- Chest/Bust
- Belly (at navel)
- Waist
- Arm Length
- Wrist
- Shoulders width
- Bicep
- Back Length (Waist line)
- Back Length (Below Hips)
